Meadows and fields

This is Tosh - an Earth-gnome. Flowers and plants are his happiness. He does everything, to make them feel komfortable. So he might even ruin his brandnew shirt by holding it over a sensitive flower, to shelter it from the cold rain. Beside this, a gnome like him has no sorrows at all. He lives his live, enjoying the sunshine and the fresh air, the colors of nature, the song of a bird. During the summer he is simply dancing and singing around. When winter comes, he often will share the nest of a mouse or a mole, snuggled up to them and dreaming of the next summer, until spring wakes him up again.

This is Wollewall. He is a gnome who can be found beside the river 'Lech' only - a river near Landsberg and Augsburg. These little fellows are called Hojemannle because they love to jump all over sudden in your way, crying out: "Hojo, hoje!" just to terrify you and then start to dance around you, singing and shouting. But they never do any harm. In fact they often lend a hand to people who need it. A Hojeman is easy to recognize: He is entirely dressed in green. No other colour will do. And so, this is the favorite colour of Wollewall, too.
